There are tests you can do with your dog to determine which paw they favor. 

 You’ll need to test about a dozen times to ensure accuracy, but finding the answer to these questions will help you figure it out:

1. Which paw does your dog most often shake with? 

2. If your dog is playing on its back and you put your hand just out of their reach, which paw does it reach for your hand with? 

3. If you place a treat or a toy under a piece of furniture, which paw does your dog use to reach for it? 

4. If your pet wants to come inside, which paw does it typically use to scratch at the door? 

 You can try testing your cat, but you’ll probably just confirm that they don’t give a sh**.
